The HEDGE 1-Year Internship Program is a structured training and industry internship opportunity aimed at preparing aspiring professionals for careers in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.

Designed and delivered by Hedge School of Applied Economics, this program blends academic learning with real-time industry exposure, ensuring holistic career development.

What the Program Offers

  • Duration: 12 Months

  • Mode: Hybrid (Classroom + Practical Exposure)

  • Location: Kochi

  • Stipend: ₹10,000/month (Second Semester)

  • Certifications: NISM Investment Adviser – Level I & II

  • Assured Placement: Upon successful completion

While the national pass rate is under 20%, Hedge students consistently achieve 60%+ pass results.

Program Structure

1. Orientation – 1 Month

  • Introduction to company culture, systems, and expectations

  • Skill workshops and soft skill training

2. Internship Phase – 11 Months

  • Live projects, department rotations, and mentorship

  • Regular assessments and performance tracking

  • LMS access + classroom training sessions

Performance-Based Stipend

  • A monthly stipend of ₹10,000 is provided in the second semester

  • Linked to attendance, performance, and completion of key deliverables

  • Graduates or final-year students (B.Com, BBA, BSc, MBA, etc.)
